Who We Are...

The National Council of Catholic Women consists of more than 5,000 affiliated Catholic women's organizations in parishes and dioceses throughout the U.S., representing hundreds of thousands of Catholic women.

· We are Catholic women who hold Individual Membership with NCCW.

· The NCCW is a member of the World Union of Catholic Women's Organizations (WUCWO).

· We are recognized by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB).

· We are active participants in partnerships with other Catholic groups.

Mission Statement:

The National Council of Catholic Women acts through its membership to support, empower and educate all Catholic women in spirituality, leadership and service. NCCW programs respond with Gospel values to the needs of the Church and society in the modern world.

Membership

Every woman over the age of 18 in our parish can become a member of the CCW.  Annual dues are $5.00 (an envelope is provided for this membership).

Affiliates are Catholic women's organizations at the archdiocesan/diocesan, parish, and district or deanery levels and national Catholic women's organizations who subscribe to the objectives of NCCW.  Catholic women's groups at the archdiocesan/diocesan, district, deanery, and parish levels and national organizations interested in affiliating with the NCCW should contact the national office for information about benefits, voting privileges, and dues.  Our parish pays national, diocesan, and state CCW dues.
